Would give 10 stars if I could. He is very passionate, patient, and attentive to what is going on. The best part is his fish-side manner like (bedside manner :))). He is very pleasant to be around. Highly recommend.

Captain Doug is an exceptional guide! Although the fishing was a bit challenging, he went above and beyond to put us on the fish. He even extended our trip beyond the agreed time to ensure we caught our fish and were completely satisfied. I’ll definitely be booking another trip with Captain Doug!

I brought my buddy from Arizona down to Corpus Christi for a fishing trip on 6/3. The winds were howling, and Captain Doug did everything he could to get us to reschedule, but we didn’t have the flexibility. Despite the tough conditions, he fought the wind and still managed to get us on fish. We only landed one keeper, and Captain Doug felt bad about the poor outing, but the overall experience more than made up for the lack of fish. If you're looking for a guide who will work tirelessly to deliver the best possible experience, Captain Doug is the one to call!

Fishing with Captain Doug was an outstanding experience. My wife and I have fished with many guides across several states, and Doug was by far the best! He shared valuable knowledge about the waters, fish migration patterns, and why certain lures and baits were effective at that time of year. Doug’s boat is fantastic, and his smooth driving made for a comfortable ride. He knows exactly where the fish are. As someone with decent fishing experience, I still learned a lot in a short amount of time, and Doug helped my wife look like a pro in no time. We caught fish right away, and the action continued throughout the afternoon. Captain Doug’s laid-back, polite, and professional demeanor made the day even more enjoyable, and he was always ready to help and answer any questions we had. We’ll definitely be back!
